Hi Honey, I'm Home!

"No touch, no talk, no eye contact. " That's Cesar Millan's advice for
how you should enter a house with a dog. After doing this a few times,
it is amazing how it works. Yes, we all can't wait to see our dogs,
and we love greeting them when we reunite after a long day. And aren't
they so excited, as if they haven't seen you in months, when you only left a
few hours ago? But if you want to train your dog not to jump on
people, well, it's the
people who have to be trained: No touch;
no talk; no eye contact. March into the room all confident and
assertively. And you will be amazed at how much the dogs respect this
behavior.
After you've had a chance to settle into the house, put down
your things, change your clothes, then it's time for the wonderful
greeting. Your dog will wait, and he won't be upset if you don't do it
right away.
